August 14, 2025 - Construction completed
August 12, 2025 - Installation of glass railings
TOWER OPENING - July 18, 2025

July 14, 2025 - Installation of the glass floor, the roof and tempory railings
July 3, 2025 - Installation of anchors for the glass sections
June 6, 2025 - After a week of assembly
June 2, 2025 - The assembly of the steel structure has begun

November December 2024 - Construction of the tower in factory and galvanization
October 30, 2024 - Sidewalk sunk and base bachfilled
August 21, 2024 - The base awaiting the steel structure
August 8, 2024 - The base of the tower is completed

July 18, 2024 - Completed slab
July 17, 2024 - Frames and anchors installed

July 9, 2024 - First phase of concreting completed

July 5, 2024 - Excavation completed. The pentagon is visible, marked in the rock.

June 26, 2024 - Start to excavation

June 25th, 2024 - The location is now demarcated.

June 18th, 2024 - It's time for scouting with the Construction Longer team in anticipation of the construction site which will begin next week.
At the end of public call for tenders, the construction contract was awarded to Construction Longer to Sherbrooke

ABOUT THE TOWER
After 10 years of success, Forêt Hereford wishes to respond to the requests of its visitors, be they its members or the citizens of the Coaticook MRC, by building a tower at the summit of Mont Hereford. Safeguarding the 360-degree view while respecting its mission of conservation, this unique project is “Much more than a tower, it is an experience!” ".
Access will be free, so we need you to help with the financing.
